Later when she sees the man, she says he's Octavio Consonne the man who killed her father. It seems like Anna was be throed to Consonne but she was in love with her partner and was pregnant with his child and when Consonne learns of this he killed him. But because it was 25 years ago, it couldn't be him. But Duncan knows he's an immortal and he encountered him a hundred years ago when they pursued same girl and they had a duel which Consonne won. Consonne reveals himself to Anna and that this is his way of getting back at her. She turns to Duncan who prepares to face Consonne.
